From Dorrine Koch:
In 1983, my husband John and I found my ggggrandparents Robert SCOTT, wife Martha PROFFITT, and many other relatives lost in briars, brambles, poison ivy, trees, blackberry vines, and weeds. We started cleaning up and uncovering stones in the ground and erecting them. We found a Russell WOLFE and his brother who helped cut trees, brush, and dig up stumps. Russell was an organizer and got neighbors to help pile brush and burn it. A neighbor made the cross (see picture below) and Milly WOLFE treated it over and over with creosote. We fenced in the cemetery and put up a gate. We created a CORR Cemetery Association Care Fund at the Carlinville National Bank (Please contribute to this fund.) I have a list of all the stones we set up and all the names there are in CORR cem. I have names SCOTTS, HUGHES, YORKS, MITCHELLS and others. We worked on the cemetery about 5 or 6 or more of our vacation times. We camped at Beaver Lake campground. We are very proud of our efforts. Some of us contribute yearly for mowing because our fund is not big enough yet to get it all mowed . Thanks for the fun times we had with all those who helped., Because we lived so far away. It is a beautiful place of rest. John & Dorrine KOCH

Dorrine will do lookups from her list of burials at Corr Cemetery. <Djkoch2@aol.com> Please ask for one or two surnames.
