The Grantor Daniel D. Crawford (widower) of the County of Macoupin and State of Illinois for & in Consideration of  twenty Eight Hundred and Twenty Nine Dollars, in hand paid, doth hereby grant, bargain & sell, Convey and Warrant to Eugene Crawford of the County of Macoupin & State of Illinois the following described real estate:

Beginning at a stake on the township line 30 links north of a stone being the SW Corner of section 7 in Township 8 - North of range six west 3rd P.M. Thence North 26.00 Chains to a stake thence east 39.88 Chains to a stone. Thence South 0.98 Chains to a stone. Thence a stone. Thence west to .98 Chains to a stake in SE. corner of a grave yard.
Thence north 0.75 Chains to a stake in the North east corner of said Grave Yard. Thence West 0.40 Chains to a stake in the NW Corner of said Grave Yard. Thence S O.75 W 20.00 Chains to a stake at the place of beginning Containing 71 & 96/100 acres West 3rd pm. situated in the County of Macoupin in the State of Ill., hereby releasing a waiving all rights under & by virtue of the Homestead Exemption Laws of this State.
