GEORGE ROBISON bought land in Western Mound Twp., Macoupin County, IL Aug 24, 1835, compromising 120 acres. He was born in VA per the census. He was in Caldwell Co., KY on 23 Mar 1813 when he married ALCEY (ELSEY) POORE. He died bef the 1860 Census, probably Macoupin County. His death date or burial place not found. ALCEY POORE ROBISON was deceased by 1875, burial place not found.

i. HUGH J. ROBISON b 31 Dec 1816 Caldwell Co. KY; d 8 May 1893; bu Asbury Mound Cemetery, Barr Twp., no stone. He married 1) SARAH BATES d bef 1850; 2) MAY JANE ANDERSON 14 Apr 1853 Macoupin Co., IL; 3) HARRIET M. ? ca 1865.

iii. PRESLEY C. ROBISON b 29 Oct 1822 in Caldwell Co., KY; d 19 Feb 1888 in Macoupin Co., IL; m ELIZABETH REDMAN 23 Mar 1845 Macoupin Co., IL. Elizabeth was b 6 Sep 1822 in Brookville, IN dau of EDWARD REDMAN & ANN TEAGARDEN DOUGHTY SHERWOOD. She d 4 Aug 1897 in Washington, W. Mound Twp., Macoupin Co., IL. Both are buried in Asbury Mound Cemetery, Barr Twp., Macoupin Co., IL

iv. SIMON ROBISON b ca 1825 prob Caldwell Co., KY; d bef 1844; m SARAH POWELL 31 Dec 1840 Macoupin Co., IL.
