Norm Witherbee is originally from Nortonville, Ill., between Jacksonville and Waverly. He became interested in genealogy about 10 years ago, and in Illinois Civil War regiments about 5 years ago, especially the 101st and 14th Infantry Regiments.. After retiring from the high tech industry 3 years ago, he has Dyer histories on all Ill. units and Adj. General’s Report histories on many. He has accumulated a large bibliography of published and unpublished books about Ill. Regiments. He is interested in getting any pictures, stories, etc., on any Ill. units.
