Located 7 mi west of Carlinville on Route 108, on
the south side of Route 108.
Shiloh was a Baptist Church Cemetery but the church was torn
down a few years ago (probably earlier than 1970.)
MCHS Cemetery book compiled before 1975.
"I have overseen the upkeep of Shiloh Cemetery on 108 west of Carlinville for a few years as did generations before me. I need to pass this on to someone who can step up and help. Maintenance and finances should not be an issue for the foreseeable future. I am willing to stay involved and help with operational tasks if needed. However, my age is hinting to me that continuity necessitates a passing of this torch. I intend that 2018 be my last year with these duties. This is a well maintained cemetery with regular care . By the end of January I will turn over all records, keys, and checkbooks. Hopefully there are other options than forfeiting to the state. I welcome suggestions or volunteers."
