Headquarters and was a request for forms for membership in that
organization.

At a meeting of ex soldiers last evening they decided that they desired to form a Post of the G. A. R. here. I understand that you are the proper officer to apply for blank instructions & the number that signed the roll last evening were 34. We expect to start in with not less than forty. we wish to be mustered as soon as possible as we want to attend our County reunion in a body next month. Please let me hear from you at once.
