The 1st 'n 2nd generations along with John Thompson "Hill" Allen was from help in the UK from a fellow researcher. He did census look ups for me on the family names. I still have NO reference to the town "Smokeland" which is on the marriage certificate for Mary Jane Allen and George Hundley.
Also since my paternal grandmother's aunt 'n uncle were living in Staunton, it is logical that the families would overlap... and they did as a cousin mar. into the other family another cousin.... which kept my husband and I from being related.
The Heigert name is quite notable up there and so I am back the aunt's line from my paternal grandmother with the Schmelzle name from Waldulm Germany in the Black Forest.
