HART, WAGGONER posted by Donna Carter on Sunday, November 3, 1996
Anderson HART (of Tn.)Morgan ,Macoupin Counties, Illinois) b. abt 1808 in Tn., married the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth WAGGONER in the early 1800's (abt 1825?). His wife's name MAY HAVE BEEN Sarah WAGGONER. We really don't know as when her father's (Joseph WAGGONER) estate was proven she was deceased and not listed in documents. Her husband, Anderson HART (brother to Soloman, Nathan, Charles, etc. of Morgan Co, Ill).--was listed a guardian to minor children: Susanna (Lorena?) HART, Elizabeth HART, and Henry HART (born abt 1834?). Anderson later remarried to Nancy ROUTIN,1836. He was buried in Macoupin Co, Ill., following the death of his second wife, Nancy. But, we are interested in the first wife's name ______ WAGGONER. I believe Anderson and his second wife may have moved to Macon Co, Il. at sometime. Need help finding descendants of the children of Anderson HART and his first wife ______ WAGGONER. She was the sister of Nancy WAGGONER, who married Soloman HART. She was also the sister of Charles HART's first wife--who was also deceased in 1840. Their minor children were: Nancy Ann HART, Anderson Francis HART, Ransom Pryor HART, and Malinda Jane HART. Charles HART remarried to Eliza, and they went to Texas by 1850, or shortly before. Would appreciate contact with descendants of either of these un-named WAGGONER sisters who married Charles and Anderson HART.

NETTLES posted by Greg Nelson on Thursday, March 6, 1997
According to a family document my gggrandmother, Nancy Ann NETTLES,was born in MACOUPIN County, Illinois, on October 30, 1833. Her mother was Mary Ann NETTLES, who may have also had prior names of GREGG and FERGERSON. I do not know her father's name. In 1850 the family lived in Missouri, and there was a brother JAMES NETTLES. In 1851, the mother and daughter travelled to Oregon where they both married. They were likely members of the Baptist Church. I would appreciate any record of the NETTLES family in MACOUPIN COUNTY between 1830 and 1850.

MCDONALD posted by Hy Bates on Tuesday, March 11, 1997
I am seeking information on Henderson McDonald or his son Harvey McDonald. The little information I have on them indicates they lived in Macoupin Co. prior to moving to Dent Co. MO. Harvey was said to have been born in Macoupin Co. Dent Co., MO records show him marrying Sarah Blackwell there in 1867. We also have a picture of him showing him as a young man in his twenties around 1863, so we assume he was born sometime in the 1840's. Any information regarding the McDonald Family would be greatly appreciated.
