I am looking for information on the family of Orlando (Orlander) Earl Davis. He was born ~1813. The 1850 Hopkins County, KY
census shows Orlando with 8 children and no wife - Orlando 37, Aspalis 15, Jane 12, Thomas 10, David 9, Mary 7, William
& Baley 3, and Byron 1. Orlando has two more sons - O. Ruben b~1863 and (Eldred) Glover b~1867. I am not sure when
he went to Illinois. Ruben DAVIS is my grandfather and remained in Hopkins County.
Thomas Chiles Davis born ~1821 was living in 1848 in Macoupin County, IL when his step-mother deeded land to he and brother
Dixon G. They later transferred land to Eldred G. Davis. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated..
